Custom Arches Made For The Room

The 1300mm-wide arches were chosen to reflect the full width of a reformer. Even spacing creates a symmetrical layout across the wall, while mounting the mirrors 300mm above the floor gives them a floating appearance.

Custom cutting and CNC edge polishing allowed us to achieve the required size and shape. Smaller imported arch mirrors would have been too small for this space.

Laser-Aligned Below The Air Conditioners

We used laser alignment to keep all five mirrors level, positioning their tops just below the air conditioners. This maximised the available mirror height and reflection within the space.

Planning Around A Tight Stairwell

The stairwell bulkhead and doorway limited the largest panels we could bring upstairs to 2400 × 1300mm. Parking time restrictions also had to be factored into the delivery and installation plan.

A team of three experienced professionals was required to lift and manoeuvre the large, heavy mirrors up the tight stairs and into the studio.

Lighting To Suit Each Class

Backlighting behind the mirrors creates a soft warm-white glow around the arches. The LED colour can also be changed to set the right mood for each Pilates class.
