We supplied and installed mirrors for Studio107 in Oakleigh, creating mirror walls for its main dance space and a smaller private studio. The spaces support K-pop, street jazz and hip-hop classes, from beginner to advanced levels.
Main studio: 15 value-sized mirrors, each 2400 × 1200mm.
Private studio: custom-cut 2400 × 1150mm floor-to-ceiling mirrors.
Access: upstairs installation, a long staircase and limited parking.
Fifteen Tall Mirrors For The Main Dance Studio
We used fifteen 2400 × 1200mm value-sized mirror panels for the main studio. The tall panels give dancers a clear view of their movements during classes and rehearsals.
An Early Start And A Three-Person Installation Team
Upstairs access, difficult parking and a long staircase made delivery and handling a key part of the job. We started early with two commercial glass trucks and a three-person team to manoeuvre the large, heavy panels upstairs and into position.
Fortunately, the Oakleigh strip had excellent coffee to help with the early start.
Custom Mirrors For The Private Dance Studio
The smaller second-floor studio needed a different layout for private dance classes and rehearsals. We selected custom-cut 2400 × 1150mm floor-to-ceiling mirrors to suit the space and provide full-length reflections.
