MPHQ Club — Ferntree Gully Arched Mirrors

Five mega-sized arched mirrors create broad reflections across the reformer studio at MPHQ Club in Ferntree Gully, Melbourne. Each arch measures 2450mm high × 3300mm wide, combining a generous reflective area with a curved shape suited to the studio.

Wide Arches For Maximum Reflection

The wide arch radius preserves more reflection across the upper part of each mirror. A tighter curve would cut away more of the top corners; the broad curve keeps the view generous while creating a distinctive arched finish.

Laser Alignment Beneath An Angled Roof

The angled roof set the starting point for the installation. We measured from its lowest height and established a level laser line from there, keeping the mirrors aligned beneath the changing ceiling height.

Precise, even spacing between the mirrors allowed the electricians to centre the lights in each gap. The balanced mirror and lighting layout adds ambience to the studio without compromising the reflections.

Three-Person Handling For Oversized Glass

The size and weight of the glass made this a three-person job. Careful handling and positioning were essential to install the oversized arches and achieve the planned alignment and spacing.
